Though the hotel is old and needs some work on noise from rooms next door and above and below, it is generally speaking
Staffs are nice and the room is clean
The walls are super thin and you can hear all the noise from rooms next to yours and above and below.

Good option for Kanoya
We were on our way from Miyazaki to Ibusuki via the car ferry after checking out some nice waterfalls in between and the Nichinan coast. I was surprised to find such a big grand hotel in a out of the way rural area. Although there is no onsen, the town does have onsen options you could visit and we were happy with the room/breakfast for the price we paid. There are also dinner option within the hotel which was great as it was raining hard on the evening we had dinner here. I'd stay again if I needed a hotel in this area again.
If I had to complain, the only thing missing was an onsen. But overall the place was better than I expected really.
